GROTON, Conn. - The Avery-Copp House Museum has a full season of events that include a Sea to Table series, Groton Bank Day, Plein Air Painting, a Garden Workshop, a Garden Fairy Tea and a Politics & Fashion lecture. Our first major event, Sea to Table, is a four-part series focused on Sea Scalloping. There will be three public lectures at the La Grua Center followed by a unique sunset cruise aboard a working Scallop Boat.

Groton Bank Day combines Connecticut Open House Day with Art on Groton Bank, June 8 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. All participating venues will be free, including the Thames River Water Taxi and a shuttle bus that will make a continuous hop on-hop off loop throughout the day. From young children to history buffs of all ages there will be something for everyone to enjoy this summer at the Avery-Copp House. Notifications will be sent out when additional events are added. Regular museum hours throughout the summer are Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
