CROMWELL, Conn. - Active, reserve, retired military service members and accompanying family can attend Connecticut’s PGA tournament, the Travelers Championship, at TPC River Highlands, in Cromwell, through June 23, for free.

With Military Appreciation presented by Trinity Health of New England, military personnel and their families will have the chance to see some of the best golfers in the Professional Golfers Association of America (PGA).

Additionally, Bear’s BBQ Smokehouse is sponsoring free admission to all United States veterans (non-retirees) and three accompanying family members.

All active, reserve and retired military service members; United States veterans; and their accompanying family are also invited into the Patriots’ Outpost, a complimentary hospitality venue adjacent to the 18th Fairway that will offer free food and beverage, Wednesday through Sunday during the tournament. The venue is fully climate-controlled. During meals times, Bear’s BBQ Smokehouse will be providing complimentary fare at the Patriots’ Outpost.
