MYSTIC, Conn. - The Mystic & Noank Library is offering yoga classes for kids and teens remotely via Zoom this summer. Participants may call or e-mail the library to request information about how to attend digital programs.

A joyful way for children, ages 3 to 5 with a caregiver, to explore creative movement and develop physical skills, learn yoga poses through active imagination and creatively channel energy by following movement instruction and practicing calming moments. Wednesdays, June 24 to Aug. 26 at 10:30 a.m.

Twisty Kids is a fun and non-competitive approach to get kids ages 6 to 9 moving. Children learn creative movement concepts and yoga postures designed with kids' imagination and fun in mind. They will also learn relaxation techniques and practice mindfulness and respect for others in this class. Mondays, June 29 to Aug. 3 at 10:30 a.m.

Yoga with Miss Kim will lead an expressive and gentle yoga class on Wednesday mornings, for ages 10 and up, with an emphasis on kindness, mindfulness and non-competition. Wednesdays, July 8 to 29 at 11:30 a.m.
