Parent & Teen Book Club

Parents, enjoy themed reads with your teen! Pick books that match the monthly topic, then join us for a discussion. This group meets on the first Tuesday of every month at 6 p.m. Themes for fall include:

Techy Teens and Savvy Seniors

Senior citizens are invited to attend this computer workshop to receive help with their computers, phones and devices from a teen volunteer, Sept. 5 at 4 p.m. Teens are invited to volunteer and can contact Ms. Jessa at the Groton Public Library for applications. Seniors are encouraged to register with the Groton Senior Center. This program meets at the Groton Senior Center.


STEAM: science, technology, engineering, art and math. Experiment with fun new projects every month. September’s project (Sept. 12 at 3:30 p.m.) will be designing paper airplanes that can carry weight, fly the longest distance, and more.

Job Club

Looking to write your resume or search for that perfect after school job? Job Club has new evening hours that are open to high school students. Stop in for help with resumes, college applications, job searching, cover letters and interviews, Sept. 17 or 24 from 5 to 7 p.m.

Teen Gaming Demos

Teens entering grades 6-12 can join us in Teenscape for console, computer and tabletop board games, Thursdays at 5:30 p.m. Each month we will feature a new or classic game to try. Featured games for fall include:
