NSMRL celebrates Navy's 245th birthday

Cipriano SN, USN (right) of Naval Submarine Research Laboratory (NSMRL) prepare to cut a cake, Oct. 13, celebrating the Navy’s 245th Birthday. The central theme of this year’s celebration was “Victory at Sea,” which encompassed the Navy’s efforts in battle during World War II. During the cake cutting, Capt. Larkin, Master of Ceremonies, was the Senior Sailor, while HN Cipriano participated as Junior Sailor. The guest of honor was NSMRL commanding officer, Capt. Shobe. Eleven presenters discussed their specialties’ contributions to the United States Navy Victory in WWII.
