NBHC offers Nicotine Replacement Therapy
GROTON, Conn. - Do you currently smoke or chew tobacco products? Are you interested in quitting? Evidence shows that tobacco cessation medications, like nicotine replacement, combined with behavioral therapy lead to better success rates.
The Naval Branch Health Clinic (NBHC) Groton Pharmacy has an Over the Counter Nicotine Replacement Therapy (NRT) program for eligible beneficiaries. The NRT program is available without an appointment Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., at the NBHC Groton Pharmacy. NHBC Groton's Nurse Educators offer tobacco cessation classes and individual counseling to active duty, family members, retirees and DoD employees.

Alzheimer's Association Workshop
MYSTIC, Conn. – The Connecticut Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association will host a free, interactive workshop open to the public about early detection and prevention of Alzheimer's disease in the Ames Room of the Mystic & Noank Library, Jan. 23 and Feb. 20 from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Both workshops will feature video clips of people with Alzheimer's disease to help participants recognize signs and symptoms.

MYSTIC, Conn. - The Mystic & Noank Library is offering Cloud computing class, Jan. 27 from 11 a.m. to noon. Everyone talks about "the cloud," but it can be hard to understand what it actually is. Find out about the uses of cloud computing and compare some common service providers Participants are encouraged to bring their own devices, but we have limited laptops available to use for those who need them.
