Adult coloring

Join us for a relaxing and creative evening of coloring for adults, Jan. 9 at 6:15 p.m., at the Bill Library. Colored pencils and patterns are provided. Bring your own pencils as desired. Refreshments will be provided.

Book discussion, signing

Christine M. Rockledge will speak at the Bill Library, Jan. 13 at 2 p.m. She will discuss her new book "Images of America: Norwich State Hospital." This program is free and open to the public.

Civil Discourse in society

Harry Pearson, a 37-year resident of Gales Ferry and President of the Friends of the Ledyard Libraries, will present a program addressing the state of civil discourse in our society today, Jan. 27 at 2 p.m. The presentation will review the current divisive environment and provide some recommendations on how we, as citizens, can begin to repair the damage. Matinee Mondays

Join us for an afternoon movie, Jan. 28 at 1:50 p.m., and view the 2019 Academy award nominees and contenders at the Bill Library. Refreshments will be available. The movie for January is “Beautiful Boy.”
