BALTIC, Conn. - Local United Network to Combat Hunger (L.U.N.C.H.) and the Academy of the Holy Family team up to present a family-friendly concert to benefit local social service programs that provide food and shelter to those in need, May 18 at 7 p.m., at St Michael's Center, on School Hill Road in Baltic.

The concert features the L.U.N.C.H. Ensemble, presenting the music of Harry Chapin, and other original selections from their catalog. The Ensemble is comprised of students in 4th-12th grade from several schools, and is led by Grammy-winner Bill Pere, one of Connecticut's State Troubadours. Other professional artists in the Ensemble include Nashville recording artist Kay Pere, and award-winning performer Larry Batter. Joining the Ensemble will be students from the Academy of the Holy Family in Baltic.

Tickets are $8 at the door, with proceeds benefiting local social services.
