Techy Teens and Savvy Seniors

Senior citizens are invited to attend this computer workshop, Tuesdays at 1 p.m., to receive help with their computers, phones, and devices from a teen volunteer. Teens are invited to volunteer and can contact Ms. Jessa at the Groton Public Library for applications. Seniors are encouraged to register with the Groton Senior Center. This program meets at the Groton Senior Center July 9, 16, 23, and 30.

Art Exploration: A Creative Mission

Join us for a weekly art exploration, Wednesdays at 3:30 p.m., where adults and teens entering grade 5+ can experiment with different forms of artistic expression. To acrylic and beyond, we want to try it all! Registration is not required; supplies are limited on a first-come, first-served basis. See the schedule below for each week's project:

Queer Lit

Join us at the Groton Public Library for a teen book club that celebrates the LGBTQIA+ community, July 11 at 6 p.m. Teens in grades 6-12 are invited to take part in the conversation as we read books by and about queer people. We will be discussing “The Scorpion Rules” by Erin Bow. Copies of next month’s book selection will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. This event is hosted in partnership with OutCT of New London County.

Teen Iron Chef

Join us at the Groton Public Library for our third annual Teen Iron Chef competition, July 19 at 2 p.m. Teams of 4-5 will compete to identify the most spices, demonstrate responsible cooking, and create the perfect salad. Judges from FoodCorps, the Bridge Market, and the Library will choose the winning team. Registration is required.
