Five Below Fundraiser
The Junior Friends of the Groton Public Library are sponsoring a shopping fundraiser at Five Below (917 Hartford Turnpike, Waterford Commons). When you shop between now and July 7, 10 percent of your total purchase will benefit the library. Note: You must present a Five Below shopping voucher, available at all of the Library’s checkout stations, when you make your purchase.
Join the Junior Friends of the Groton Public Library for pizza and popsicles, July 20 at 1:30 p.m. At this meeting we will discuss previous projects and vote on activities for the new school year. Membership in the Junior Friends is required to attend this meeting, but interested participants can join on the spot. Please RSVP to Kim Balentine by July 15 at (860) 441-6750.
Library Helper Day
During this busy hour, July 22 at 3:30 p.m., the Junior Friends will assist Groton Public Library staff in a variety of projects, including preparing craft and program materials, dusting and light cleaning, straightening shelves and special event preparation.
